 Shaheed Minar is the symbol of our love and sincerity for supreme sacrifice of our language martyrs. It is located in front of Dhaka Medical College. Hamidur Rahaman, a' famous architect designed this significant monument. Its vertical lines symbolize the manifestations of inner strength. The four columns on both sides of the central structure reflect the balance and harmony of united stand. Today, It has become a part of our political as well, as cultural achievement and national source of inspiration.
